Liberal Democrat Councillor Stuart Bray has tonight been elected as the new Leader of Hinckley & Bosworth Borough Council. Stuart has succeeded Councillor David Bill who has stepped aside on the advice of his doctor.
Over 1,300 people across Hinckley and Bosworth have responded to an NHS Inquiry conducted by the Liberal Democrats' parliamentary spokesman Michael Mullaney.
Campaigners have welcomed Leicestershire Fire Authority's decision to defer its plans to cut by eight the number of Firefighters based in Hinckley. At a meeting this afternoon members of the Fire Authority decided to delay the decision for six months.
