The local NHS is in financial crisis locally as well as nationally. We seem to have been successful in our attempts to stop moves to transfer services away from the George Eliot but now we are pressing hard for the re-opening of the North Ward at the new Hinckley Community Hospital and for a commitment to proceed with Phase 2 of the new hospital. If you would like to get involved please let us know. We really do need everyone's help.
We were delighted to be at the opening of the new supermarket in Clifton Way. It has taken years to reach this point and we hope that this at last will be a turning point in everyone's fortunes.
