Lib Dems unveil "5 point plan" for the Borough

13 Mar 2007

Chairman of Bosworth Liberal Democrats, Stuart Bray and Lib Dem Council Group Leader David Bill have announced the Party's 5 point plan for the Borough if the Lib Dems take over control of the Council in May.

These are:

1 Restore the reputation of our Borough which has been tarnished by the Tories. We will ask the people first before making major decisions.

2 Fight to preserve our open spaces which are under threat from developers.

3 Work with the police and other agencies to stamp out anti-social behaviour.

4 Global warming is the biggest threat we face today. A green thread will run

through all our policies.

5 Campaign to save and expand our hospitals and all other health services. For too long local people have had to travel miles for decent healthcare.
