Hinckley Diagnostic Centre "A start but Hinckley deserves better"

Local Liberal Democrats have welcomed the news that local NHS facilities are to be upgraded but have slammed the government for once again selling our area short.

Cllr Michael Mullaney said "For years local Conservatives have promised an NHS Walk in Centre similar to what they have in Nuneaton. Of course any upgrade to local facilities is to be welcomed but this falls well short of what we expected.

"This upgrade is long overdue. Only three years ago Hinckley's X-ray Machine was condemned as unsafe for NHS staff to use.

"Once again we are being taken for granted by the Tory government. Our growing population needs top-quality NHS facilities including a Walk-in Centre or Minor Injuries Unit.

Michael Mullaney and the local Lib Dems are campaigning for the return of X-ray services to Hinckley

"If it's good enough for Nuneaton our people have the right to expect it too."
